Making sure that the society has adequate knowledge so as to make informed decisions will enable the society to progress. Controlling the birth levels of the human race is crucial in the evaluation of living standards. Increased population causes a strain on natural resources, which causes competition for available resources (Sanger 3). Birth control needs to be done to maintain socially acceptable behaviour or morals in the society. Maintaining high moral standards in the society will determine the nature of interactions in the society. The issue of birth control is thus a sensitive issue in the society and should be resolved by ensuring that the members of the society are provided with adequate information. It is noteworthy that the members of the society make their own decision with regards to the matter since they have the information required (Sanger 4). The question arises, is the information available to the citizens enough for them to make the right decision?
